Winter Concert Faces

Little Miss Freshy-pants in the front row used to cry when strangers looked at her.

The discomfort is now dealt with, sometimes, this way.

Better, if you ask me, (which I know you did not, but your interest is implied by the fact that you are still reading), than covering her eyes with her forearm. Anything is better than a quivering, brave, silent, wet face. No more tears, but you can still see the tension and anxiety, right up to one second before the show starts.

Until the music comes and she begins performing.

Then showtime Aster comes out. And what a show it is.
